Mark Jeremy Gleberzon was born on August 17, 1969, the last day of Woodstock. He is very proud to have his own distinct voice with regards to his paintings.

A graduate with Honours from the Ontario College of Art & Design, Mark is a creative artist, working with acrylic paints on canvas. In his technique, Mark adds various gels and mediums to his paints and employs both brushes and palette knives to achieve various textures and finishes. Full of ideas, Mark is a versatile artist and does not produce one concept but rather showcases several including his "Chair", "City" and "Landscape" series as well as some ideas that are pure "Whimsy".

Mark’s paintings are in private collections throughout Canada and the US, Japan, Australia, the UK, Germany, Italy, France and others. He’s enjoyed participation in shows throughout Toronto (inc. Toronto Art Expo, Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Queen West Art Crawl) as well as Chicago (inc. Chicago One Of A Kind, Gold Coast Art Fair), New York City (Artexpo NY), Connecticut (Westport Art Festival) and elsewhere. Some of the galleries in Toronto that have carried Mark’s work include, Canvas, Liss Gallery and Above the Gallery and his landscapes have been offered in Fauves Gallerie Ltd. in Fukuoka, Japan. His paintings have appeared in Canadian House & Home and Canadian Living magazines as well as the Toronto Star newspaper.

In 2008, Mark is looking forward to even greater exposure through Bruce McGaw Graphics and The Bentley Publishing Group who are reproducing select images into posters.

Mark was a featured "Pop Artist" in the March 2007 issue of Art Business News, a US-based trade magazine catering to over 30,000 art galleries, dealers and framers. One of his paintings, NYC051205, was featured on the cover of the December 2006 issue of the very same magazine!

If there’s anything Mark lives by it’s two proverbs; "This Too Shall Pass" and "Hope Springs Eternal". He knows full well that life "ain’t" an easy ride. Enjoy his paintings and feel free to contact him for any details including commissioned work.
