about the artist…

Mark Jeremy Gleberzon is a mix-media Toronto-based artist working in painting, photography and collage-assemblage. An Honours & scholarship-winning graduate from OCADU, Mark is unwilling to limit himself to one identifiable style. He’ll jump from one series of works to another, only later noticing their commonalities. Mark opened and curated his own gallery - MJG Gallery - between 2011-2015.

“I’ve been offering my paintings & photographic works in indoor and outdoor shows as well as numerous home decor and art fairs for over twenty-five years. Shows have including the One of a Kind Show (Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver and New York City), The Riverdale Art Walk (Toronto), Queen West Art Crawl (Toronto), The Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (nee Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Toronto), the Artist Project (Toronto, Chicago), the Interior Design Show (Toronto), The Toronto Art Expo, The Love Art Fair (Toronto), the New York Art Expo (NYC), The Affordable Art Fair (NYC), the Architectural Digest Home Decor Show (NYC), Gold Coast Art Fair (Chicago), the Tokyo International Art Fair (Tokyo, Japan) to mention just a few.

My work has appeared in numerous magazines (inc Canadian House & Home, Style Canada, TorontoHOME, MontrealHOME, Art Business News, Elle Decor and others) and on TV (HGTV Canada, the Marilyn Denis Show and others). I’ve also offered art consultation and art-install as part of my service routine. I’ve also offered various lecture series and presentations about working as an independent artist, my past as an art gallery owner as well as several series of art-related lectures including my observations of historical art as well as the contemporary art market, presented at Ryerson & York Universities in Toronto.”
