LANDSCAPES

I premiered my Landscape series at the 2007 New York Art Expo and have been thrilled with the response. I am not a landscape artist per-se but wanted to take a different approach to a subject that's been done and done, especially here in Canada.

I use a limited colour scheme and keep the elements simple but by using my "scratches and hatches" with the edge of a palette knife I think I've achieved an engraved-look but still with a past graphic designer's eye.

Lately I've been painting my landscapes directly on wood panel, encasing them with a resin overcoat to really highlight my work.
