My City-scape paintings developed from an influential trip to New York City with my parents in May 2005. This series developed soon afterward and represents one of those examples of a good thing coming from bad circumstances.

New York is full of wonderous architectural legacies - the Empire State, Chrysler, Woolworth buildings and others. The format I use for most of my city-scapes are a dyptich design. The Coca Cola-logo comes from the illuminated sign at Times Square with either a view of New York or any one of the forementioned building-gems. And with the quick use of palette knives as well as brushes, the overall look is quite dynamic.

This is a very popular series and I plan on expanding my Cityscapes to include Toronto and Chicago as well as other international locales.
